Hearing Professionals of Alabama is an Audiology Private Practice that was founded in 2014 by Dr. Beth Hoven and Dr. Allison Kelly. Through much prayer and a lot of hard work and diligence, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Hoven created a business plan for a private practice committed to comprehensive audiological services for adult and pediatric patients in East Alabama.

Dr. Kelly is a licensed, certified audiologist who graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders, as well as her Doctorate of Audiology, from Auburn University. Dr. Kelly served as a clinical audiologist at an Ear, Nose and Throat practice upon graduation. In this practice, she provided pediatric and adult diagnostic hearing services, as well as hearing aid fittings and vestibular disorder testing. Dr. Kelly was afforded a position at Children’s of Alabama HEAR Center where she worked as a Pediatric Audiologist. She gained an extensive pediatric experience at Children’s and furthered her passion for working with children. Dr. Kelly is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Kelly is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at home. She is an active member of Church of the Highlands and enjoys serving the people of her community.

Dr. Hoven is a licensed, certified audiologist who graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama and received her Doctorate of Audiology from Auburn University. She spent years as a clinical audiologist for an Alabama ear, nose and throat group, where she provided diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing and balance disorder services. She serves as an audiology adjunct lecturer at Auburn University for the Department of Communication Disorders.

Dr. Hoven is a native of Leroy, Alabama. Dr. Hoven and her family reside in Auburn, Alabama. She is an active member of Church of the Highlands, and enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Lee County, and also serving as a board member for the Distinguished Young Women of Lee County scholarship program.

Dr. Chick is a licensed, clinical audiologist who graduated with her Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Communication Science & Disorders from Florida State University and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from University of South Alabama. Dr. Chick completed her fourth year externship at an ENT practice in Macon, Georgia where she provided adult and pediatric hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, vestibular testing, and cochlear implant evaluation/programming. She then stayed with this practice following graduation as a full time audiologist. Dr. Chick enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but has a passion for pediatrics.

Dr. Chick joined Hearing Professionals of Alabama in 2021! Dr. Chick is originally from Tallahassee, Florida and is a big Florida State fan of all sports. She enjoys going to the beach, exercising, and attending live music events!

After contacting 4 other hearing centers in Montgomery that could not(or were reluctant) to help me, I called Hearing Professionals and they said drop by and they would give me an assessment...went in with a non functioning hearing aid and it was repaired in house in a matter of minutes!Great People!
