Hearing Professionals of Alabama is an Audiology Private Practice that was founded in 2014 by Dr. Beth Hoven and Dr. Allison Kelly. Through much prayer and a lot of hard work and diligence, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Hoven created a business plan for a private practice committed to comprehensive audiological services for adult and pediatric patients in East Alabama.

Dr. Kelly is a licensed, certified audiologist who graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders, as well as her Doctorate of Audiology, from Auburn University. Dr. Kelly served as a clinical audiologist at an Ear, Nose and Throat practice upon graduation. In this practice, she provided pediatric and adult diagnostic hearing services, as well as hearing aid fittings and vestibular disorder testing. Dr. Kelly was afforded a position at Children’s of Alabama HEAR Center where she worked as a Pediatric Audiologist. She gained an extensive pediatric experience at Children’s and furthered her passion for working with children. Dr. Kelly is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Kelly is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at home. She is an active member of Church of the Highlands and enjoys serving the people of her community.

Dr. Hoven is a licensed, certified audiologist who graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama and received her Doctorate of Audiology from Auburn University. She spent years as a clinical audiologist for an Alabama ear, nose and throat group, where she provided diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing and balance disorder services. She serves as an audiology adjunct lecturer at Auburn University for the Department of Communication Disorders.

Dr. Hoven is a native of Leroy, Alabama. Dr. Hoven and her family reside in Auburn, Alabama. She is an active member of Church of the Highlands, and enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Lee County, and also serving as a board member for the Distinguished Young Women of Lee County scholarship program.

Dr. Hill is a licensed, certified audiologist who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders, and received her Doctorate of Audiology, from Auburn University. Dr. Hill served as a clinical audiologist at an ear, nose, and throat practice upon graduation. At this location, she had extensive experience with pediatric and adult diagnostic hearing services in addition to adult hearing aid fittings. She is passionate about serving patients and their families through hearing health and enjoys making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Dr. Hill is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, but has resided in Auburn, Alabama since 2016. Dr. Hill is an active member of Auburn Community Church. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves attending Auburn events.

Sara Tremaine Gosser is excited to be joining the team of audiologists at Hearing Professionals of Alabama. She was born and raised in Auburn and found her way back to the loveliest village seven years ago. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Auburn University and went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Audiology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has practiced audiology at the ENT clinic and with pediatric cochlear implants at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, practiced pediatric audiology at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham, and most recently served active duty soldiers, their families, and military retirees at Martin Army Community Hospital at Ft. Moore (formerly Ft. Benning). She is looking forward to serving patients in both the Auburn and Montgomery offices of Hearing Professionals of Alabama.

After contacting 4 other hearing centers in Montgomery that could not(or were reluctant) to help me, I called Hearing Professionals and they said drop by and they would give me an assessment...went in with a non functioning hearing aid and it was repaired in house in a matter of minutes!Great People!
